Rachel Lin obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree with Honours from University of Waterloo, School of Optometry. She is the recipient of the Dr. Howard A. Backman Scholarship, Bobier Lyle Fisher Research Award and Optometry Faculty Undergraduate Research Scholarship for academic excellence and her dedication to optometric research.Dr. Lin completed her externship in ocular disease and therapeutics at The Scarborough Eye Associate, Bochner Eye Institute and Lasik MD. During her externship she worked closely with ophthalmologists and was extensively trained in retinal disease, corneal disease treatment, glaucoma management, laser vision correction, and cataract surgery.Upon graduation and board-certification, Dr. Lin joined the iCare Optometrists network, where she is dedicated to providing comprehensive family eye health and vision. She is also part of the medical team in Medcan – Canada’s Leading Executive Healthcare Clinic. Dr. Lin is also a featured Optometry expert on Agecomfort.org. She strongly believes in patient education and eye disease prevention. She prides herself in spending time with patients and parents to discuss their concerns and needs.

Dr. Fu graduated from University of Waterloo, School of Optometry, International Optometric Bridging Program. She obtained the License for practicing optometry, board certification to treat and manage ocular diseases in 2012 and started to practice in Ontario since then. Dr. Fu also has the Master Degree of Ophthalmology from Fudan University, Shanghai Medical School in China where she completed her internship in general ocular disease and specialty clinical training in pediatric eye care. She had 5 years working experience as an ophthalmologist in hospital.
Dr. Fu has been providing comprehensive patient care in ocular health field since 2004. She has extensive experience in determining various refractive errors, prescribing glasses and contact lens, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, co-management with other health specialists. In her spare time, she loves travelling, music and spending time with family.
